Sarah Jarrett
Sarah completed her degree and postgraduate studies at Harrow School of Art & Brighton University in 1992 specialising in Photography which culminated in her being awarded special bursary prizes from both Kodak and Agfa.
In 1998 she began to freelance full time and began to experiment with painting onto her own large colour photographic prints with oils and machine stitching on top of them. Sarah also works with cut paper collage. She is passionate about handmade work especially anything paper based and its unusual beauty.
She has exhibited and produced commercial artwork for companies in Europe and the USA and was selected as one of the winners in the Sotherby's International Young Artists 2001.
The main outlets for her work have been in fine art cards, giftwrap, calenders, posters, limited and open edition prints, books and food packaging design for supermarkets.
Sarah works from her studio in the beautiful Norfolk countryside.
