Samantha Winstanley


Samantha is a busy freelance graphic designer and illustrator who works from her Lancashire home, under the watchful supervision of Leo da Vinci, her rescue cat.

Sam earned a BA Hons in Graphic Design at the University of Central Lancashire before progressing on to a Post Graduate MA course in Children's Illustration. She then worked at one of Manchester's top design agencies, before taking the leap into the world freelancing.

Samantha has produced artwork for a wide range of clients on projects ranging from corporate style design work, to funky, bright children's illustrations. Last year she completed her first children's book, and more recent projects include an angel card deck, a second children's book series and marketing campaigns for the Lowry.

Samantha's graphic influence can be seen throughout her artwork as she loves producing imagery that is joyful, bright, bold and colourful in a way that makes it sure to stand out. As a versatile illustrator she enjoys the challenge of finding strong solutions to new briefs.
